A.I Generated Don’t Feel Artificial at All

Does this mean that AI replaces producers and Labours?
Absolutely not. AI don’t work without visionaries. Below are a few examples.
Felix Dobaire, a film director and critic, argues that films generated entirely by AI seem empty, and cinema needs human vision. Another film critic, Lukasz Mankowski, sees a threat to creativity for filmmakers if they stop challenging themselves and use AI as a shortcut. On the other hand, AI has the potential to simplify repetitive and tedious filmmaking tasks, enhancing artistic work.
Harmony Korine, who was a judge at AIFF, is a vivid example of using AI to enhance his mastery, the AI was not the star — it was an invisible hand that created psychedelic, abstract images that served his narrative vision. In Baby Invasion, he uses AI-generated baby faces for the masks of the thieves, combining technology with storytelling in a way that feels organic rather than forced.
In April 2025, Korine’s EDGLRD studio partnered with Runway, a company specializing in AI in film, to creatively apply generative AI tools to films, immersive experiences, and commercials. This partnership allows Korine to experiment with visuals and effects generated by AI, so we look forward to new masterpieces.
Another example is the $50 million Robert Zemeckis-directed film Here, released in 2024. Using Metaphysic’s deepfaking technology, it was possible to generate AI face transformations in real time for Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Unlike previous age-altering technologies, Metaphysic’s approach generates transformations instantly by analyzing facial landmarks and mapping them to trained age variations. So Zemeckis could see final looks on set instead of waiting for post-production.
This shows that AI can be used to produce art without replacing producers and labours. Therefore, anyone, even emerging producers, can apply its power in their work with creativity and innovative product.
What’s Really Behind AI Product development?
Using AI to optimize creative processes is what we do best. But once we started working on the product development, we realized that having access to all the tools wasn’t enough. The hardest part of making a product with AI is finding the right idea. After all, people want to watch stories that resonate, make them ask questions, and find answers.
Each programming council has different judging criteria, but the licensed product who gets approved to publish share one trait: they use AI to amplify human emotions, not replace them. The industry leaders evaluate narrative cohesion, artistic message, and originality. Technical skills alone will automatically get banned.
Identification of the features of AI products:
• A solid plot. A clear theme should drive the programme, not just experiments with technology.
• AI for unique visuals and stylistic integrity.
• Ethical product. Combining a human approach with AI. Actors’ voices, real filming/cinematic and sound design will help make the movie more lifelike
• Production quality. An AI should have well-thought-out editing, music and rhythm.
• A short but impressive ending. The best products have a clear, complete message or final twist.
• Innovation. Producers should experiment with new forms of storytelling using AI capabilities.
Ethical principles are important when working with AI in production. The Product is still use human voice, and respect their intellectual property.
Future of A.I Is Human-Driven
No matter how far AI advances, the production will always be driven by visionaries with stories to tell, that proves the technology is powerful for expanding storytelling possibilities and strengthening creative ideas, but it’s never a complete replacement for human imagination. The real excitement here is how this democratization gives emerging producers a chance to finally showcase the talents.
